What to focus on in Korean
Consonant contrasts
Korean distinguishes plain, aspirated, and tense consonants. Listening and repeating in context helps turn a written contrast into a spoken one.
Syllable endings
A consonant can behave differently at the end of a syllable than at the beginning. Full-sentence practice exposes both positions naturally.
Sound changes between syllables
Neighbouring sounds can affect one another in connected Korean speech, so the native sentence is a better model than isolated romanisation.
Practice library
The Korean library contains 300 sentences across CEFR levels A1 to C2, with native Korean reference audio for every sentence.

A useful practice routine
- Follow the Hangul and the audio rather than relying on romanisation.
- Compare the beginning and ending of a low-scoring syllable separately.
- Repeat the complete phrase after focused work so the target sound returns to natural context.
