SpeakingMonkey is a free pronunciation-practice service operated by Moltu Digital. You can use the core practice loop without an account. These terms apply whenever you use the service.

Pronunciation scores are automated estimates based on Azure Speech and SpeakingMonkey's scoring model. They can be affected by microphones, noise, accents, provider errors, and model limitations. They are learning feedback—not certification, diagnosis, or professional advice.

Do not misuse the service, evade limits, automate excessive requests, interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, upload unlawful material, or use it to harm others. Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its providers.

You keep any rights you have in material you submit. You permit Moltu Digital and its processors to handle it only as needed to score an attempt, receive feedback, operate the service, and meet legal duties. The retention periods and providers are described in the privacy notice.

The app, scoring implementation, interface, reference recordings, and curated content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use them through the service for personal practice, but may not copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute them as a competing dataset or service without permission.

The service may change, pause, or stop, and individual languages or features may be corrected or removed. Reasonable care is taken, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, Moltu Digital is not responsible for indirect loss or for decisions made solely from an automated score. If a problem is caused by SpeakingMonkey, contact Moltu Digital so it can be investigated.
