What to focus on in French
Liaison and linking
A consonant that is quiet in one context may connect to the next word in another. Sentence audio lets you hear when words flow together instead of treating each one separately.
Nasal vowels
French contrasts oral and nasal vowels. Compare the reference and your recording without adding a full n or m sound after every nasal vowel.
Phrase rhythm
French prominence often builds toward the end of a phrase rather than giving every written word its own strong beat. Practising the whole sentence preserves that shape.
